Our Adult Learn-to-Sail program is designed for beginners and those looking to build confidence on the water. Whether you’ve never stepped on a sailboat or want to refresh your skills, our instructors will guide you every step of the way.

 

You’ll learn by doing—on the water, in real conditions, with experienced instructors by your side.

We sail Sunday mornings (9:00 AM to Noon) from an amphitheater located next to Acrisure Stadium.

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT

Book your lesson, upload your paperwork, and secure your spot.

STEP

SWIM VERIFICATION & WAIVER FORM

All participants must upload a completed swim verification/waiver form during booking to reserve a session.

Download the form, complete it in advance, and have it ready to upload when you book.

*You’ll upload your completed form as part of the booking process.

STEP

CHOOSE YOUR SESSION*

Select your preferred date and time, upload your completed swim verification/waiver form, and submit payment to reserve your spot.

 

Spots are limited to 3 participants per session​

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION

  • Each participant must complete their own registration and upload their own signed waiver to reserve a spot.

  • If two or more people plan to attend the same lesson time, each participant must register separately.

  • After completing your first Learn-to-Sail registration, additional lesson hours may be scheduled directly through PPSL.

  • To request additional sailing sessions, please review the calendar for availability and then email sailpittsburgh@gmail.com with your preferred dates and times. We will confirm availability and send you a confirmation email with your scheduled lesson dates and times.

 This process allows us to coordinate multiple lesson bookings more efficiently and helps avoid registration issues and duplicate or missing paperwork. 

Enter $50 per hour per person when purchasing, and include the following in the payment notes:

  1. Recipient’s name

  2. Recipient’s email

  3. Your email (for delivery of the gift message)
